Privacy Policy

Goal Hunt (the “App”) is developed by Halil Cengel (“we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the App, how we use it, and what rights you have. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: display name (username). If you sign up with email, your email address and a securely stored (one-way hashed) form of your password.
• Guest play: when you play without creating an account, a random identifier unique to your device (device ID) is generated; it contains no other information about your device.
• Sign in with Apple / Google: when you sign in with your Apple or Google account, the provider sends us a unique identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name/email so we can authenticate you. We never have access to your Apple or Google password.
• Game data: in-app activity data such as rank, experience points (XP), coins, session and match history, scores, and timing information.
• Technical data: account creation date, last active date, and basic request logs we keep as standard practice to operate our servers.

The App does not use ad SDKs or third-party analytics/tracking SDKs, and does not collect your location.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create your account, verify your identity, and manage your sessions,
• To provide the game experience (score, rank, leaderboard, progress),
• To maintain the security and integrity of the service (cheat/abuse detection),
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing With Third Parties

We do not sell your information or share it for advertising purposes. Information may only be shared in the following cases:

• Authentication providers: Apple and Google, only when you use "Sign in with" that provider, for the purpose of verifying your identity.
• Infrastructure providers: our server and database hosting providers, solely to store/process data on our behalf.
• Legal requirements: with competent authorities where required by applicable law.

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. When you request deletion of your account, see Delete Account, the personal data and game history tied to your account are permanently removed from our systems within a reasonable period.

5. Data Security

All communication with our servers takes place over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Passwords are never stored in plain text; they are hashed with an industry-standard algorithm (argon2id). Sessions are managed using time-limited, revocable authentication tokens (JWT).

6. Your Rights

Under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and applicable regulations, you have the right to learn whether your data is being processed, request information if it is, and request correction or deletion. To exercise these rights, contact us at halilcengeldev@gmail.com.

7. Account Deletion

You can request that we delete your account and all associated data at any time. See the Delete Account Instructions page for details.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with data, we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page and/or within the App.
